Tingshas/Cymbals are used along with singing bowls and other instruments in meditation, music and sound healing. They are often used in meditation practices to help focus the mind.
Tingsha bell is small cymbals used in prayer and rituals. Two cymbals are joined together by a leather strap. The cymbals are struck together producing a clear and high pitched tone.
This is widely used for the beginning and end of the meditation session.

HOW TO USE TIBETAN TINGSHA BELLS
To use the Tibetan Tingsha bells, hold the leather cord in each hand and gently tap the two ends of the cymbals together. Once the sound has stopped resonating, allow the cymbals to strike again.
